Brazilian Hair Growing In Itchy

This procedure was tested on an IBM server

RS/6000



Steps:

1) Start the system normally with a CD of the same version and LEVEL which you want to retrieve the password

2) You can select a type of boot:
- Booting CD-ROM
- NON_AUTOINSTALL mksysb
- Installing boot tape

3 Follow the instructions: - - The Welcome Menu should appear
4. Select "Start Maintenance Mode for System Recovery (option 3) 5. The next screen displays messages to the maintenance menu Select option 1:
Access a root volume group (Access a Root Volume Group)

6. The next screen displays a warning message and prompts you to select 0 to continue.
Select 0: 0 Continue


7. The next screen prompts you to select the appropriate volume group. Select the volume group
suitable for your machine.

8. The console will display information on rootvg and a menu with two options.
Select option 1:
Access this volume group and start a shell
The system will show "Importing volume group ......" and Other Info. Wait for the prompt to Appear



10. When you run the password prompt the command line:
password
Changing password for "root" root's new password
:
Enter the new password again:


11. Remove the CD from the drive and run:
sync, sync, sync, reboot

12. Allow the system to restart if the time is very long, off and on. Login as root and test the new password.
